KUALA LUMPUR – A heartbreaking video showing a policeman crying because his parents infected with COVID-19 are under intubation went viral on TikTok.
Though the country has accelerated its economic recovery by reopening businesses and tourism, the high death toll continues to be a source of concern.
There are still many patients fighting for their lives in the ICU.
Patients who are unable to breathe properly will be intubated. Those in this stage are at a higher risk of succumbing to the virus.
A call from the hospital is enough to send families in distress, even if they are policemen who usually possess a strict and robust image.
