PN U-Turns On Previous Stand, Now Says It Supports A Unity Government

In an apparent u-turn, Perikatan Nasional (PN) has announced that it agrees to consider the King’s proposal to form a unity government.

In a statement released by secretary-general Hamzah Zainudin, he said that the agreement was made for the sake of national stability and the people’s welfare.

He added that the decision was made after a PN Supreme Council meeting today on the issue of creating a unity government at the federal level.
