“Pick It Up Now” — 2 Men Dump Trash, Then Forced To Take It Back After CCTV Warning

CCTV really said “oi ambil balik” and they had no choice 💀
Thought no one would notice? Think again.

Two men recently went viral after they were caught dumping rubbish by the roadside only to be publicly called out and ordered to clean it up on the spot.

Caught red-handed… and called out instantly

The incident took place near Jalan Batu Bata, Kota Kemuning in Shah Alam, where a CCTV system monitored by Majlis Bandaraya Shah Alam (MBSA) is actively keeping watch over illegal dumping hotspots.

In a video shared on Threads, the two men were seen getting out of a Proton Pesona before opening the car boot and unloading three plastic bags of trash.

Without much hesitation, they tossed the rubbish onto the roadside, a spot believed to be frequently used for illegal dumping.

“We’ve been watching you” — warning blasted through loudspeaker

But just as they were about to leave, something unexpected happened.

A voice suddenly rang out through a loudspeaker, addressing them directly and warning them that their actions had been recorded.

Among the warnings heard:

Dumping rubbish here is prohibited. You will be prosecuted.”
We have been monitoring your movements. Please pick up your trash now.”

The moment caught many off guard, as it showed just how closely authorities are monitoring such areas.

Tried to ignore… but had no choice

At first, the men appeared hesitant and did not immediately respond to the warning.

However, after repeated instructions, one of them eventually returned to collect the trash and placed it back into the car.

“This is how it should be done”

The clip quickly gained traction online, with many praising the authorities for taking swift and direct action.

Some said this method of enforcement is exactly what’s needed to tackle illegal dumping, especially in areas that have long been affected.

Others pointed out that such behaviour doesn’t just dirty the environment, but also impacts the health and wellbeing of nearby residents.

A number of users also called for stricter penalties, suggesting that heavier fines could serve as a stronger deterrent.
