Buying a new car is a huge financial commitment as it often makes up a huge bulk of one’s spendings along with the monthly instalments and maintenance works.
Fortunately, Malaysians can look forward to owning their own car without breaking the bank as Perodua Axia will be sold at a ‘Rahmah’ price of just RM22,000!

Latest Perodua Axia model priced at RM22,000
The latest Axia E model was unveiled to the public today, where it comes equipped with a manual transmission and is priced at RM22,000 without insurance.
NST reported that this effectively makes the E variant the cheapest model offered by Perodua so far, beating the Kancil which was launched in 1994 at a price of RM24,000.
On top of that, the RM22,000 pricing is applicable to both Peninsular Malaysia and Sabah and Sarawak.

The car comes with two airbags, seatbelt reminder for the driver and a 5-year warranty. It’s also available in three colours: Ivory White, Glittering Silver and Granite Grey.
Expect to see sales soar
Perodua president and chief executive officer Datuk Seri Zainal Abidin Ahmad, who was present at the unveiling ceremony, told the English daily that the company has set its eyes on selling 1,500 units a month, inclusive of individual owners and fleet sales.
The Perodua Axia E is part of our original objective of providing affordable and quality mobility for all Malaysians. While we do not dictate who our customers are, we believe that having this model would be a welcome option by majority of Malaysians.

He added that the new model will also give motorcycle owners the opportunity to own a car too.
“Based on discussions with financial institutions, we found that only RM300 is required for monthly hire-purchase payments to own the Axia E. This is the same cost required to purchase a new motorcycle through hire-purchase,” he said.
