Ever since news of the British rock band Coldplay performing its first concert in Malaysia went out, it has attracted nothing but criticism from PAS, who have expressed strong objection over their presence.
In yet another instance, this time it involved Kelantan PAS Youth Chief Mohamad Kamal Mohamed issuing an open letter on Facebook to content creator and entrepreneur Khairul Aming.

PAS Youth chief reprimands Khairul Aming over Coldplay tickets
In the rather lengthy post, Mohd Kamal said he was compelled to write the letter based on the fact that he and Khairul Aming were “brothers” in sharing the same religion as well as being Kelantanese themselves.
He also reprimanded the content creator for setting a bad example for others by openly promoting events featuring individuals who openly express support for the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) community.

This comes after Khairul Aming shared with his followers on Twitter about how he managed to secure tickets to the Coldplay concert while using the toilet.

‘Breaks my heart’
Mohamad Kamal also said that he was deeply saddened to see a fellow Muslim with such a huge influence like Khairul Aming purchasing tickets to watch a band which was a huge proponent of the LGBT “agenda”.
My heart was deeply broken when I read the Twitter post of a brother who really wanted to book the tickets. While I have no power to stop the wishes of others, I would like to leave a message because you are my religious brother.
“I’d also like to beg of you to reconsider the consequences of the LGBT culture that will be brought together into Malaysia through the Coldplay concert,” he wrote.

While acknowledging that Khairul Aming was mature enough to make his own decisions, Mohamad Kamal said that he should refrain from promoting the concert indirectly as many Malaysian youths looked up to him.
