“P license = Polite” Axia driver from Klang praised by netizens for humble note

Be kind.

KLANG – In Malaysia, displaying a “P” license sticker on your car’s windscreen means that the Road Transport Department (JPJ) has issued you a probationary driving license (PDL). You are also required by law to display it so that others are aware of your lack of driving experience.

Many would opt to avoid “P” license holders as they tend drive much slower and erratically due to their inexperience. However, a netizen named Lex Chen shared an incident he had with one such driver which brightened his day.

In his Facebook post, Lex shared how it all started with a green Perodua Axia that had the “P” sticker on display. As he approached the car, he saw a note pasted on its rear windscreen and immediately became curious.

On the note, it reads: “Please forgive my poor driving skills” in three languages, English, Malay, and Chinese.
