Upon winning the Best Actress award at the 95th Academy Awards, cultural figure and artist, Michelle Yeoh returned back home and met our Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim.
The latest post by Anwar revealed his experience of meeting the 60-year-old Malaysian actress. He stated that she expressed her joy and recalled all the hindrances she faced before bagging the victory.

Moreover, the actress said that the Oscar award was an achievement that now allows her to rest and stop hustling.
Yeoh confessed that her win was remarkable for herself, her family as well as for fellow Malaysians. Her achievement has now raised our fellow Malaysian standards in making our country’s name known globally.
Anwar applauded her success and blessed her with many more victories to come.
