But one restaurant in Kuching, Sarawak, decided to deal with the issue in the most hilarious way possible – by putting up a sign telling flies to stay out.
Flies are not allowed
A short TikTok video uploaded by @hennabungafieyqah showcased the creative notice. Written in bold letters, the sign simply read, “Flies are not allowed to enter”.
The clip quickly went viral, leaving netizens in stitches over the restaurant’s “stern warning” to these pesky creatures.
The OP revealed more about the quirky sign in an exclusive chat with WeirdKaya.
She revealed that it was actually her friend who spotted the sign first and burst out laughing before pointing it out to her. Curious and amused, she decided to record a video of the notice.
To be honest, there weren’t any flies there at the time. They placed the notice near the dishes for nasi kandar. Maybe they put it there just for fun.” the OP told us.
