In a splendid celebration of love and commitment, Ashman Najib, the youngest son of Malaysia’s former Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib, officially tied the knot today in a grand wedding ceremony.
The event, held at the banquet hall of Pavilion Hotel Kuala Lumpur, was graced by the presence of Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah and his consort, Raja Permaisuri Agong Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah, along with other dignitaries and political figures.
Photos shared online showcase Ashman Najib, in a dashing white baju Melayu, and his bride, Nikola Mulyadi, in an elegant white wedding dress and regal crown.
The couple exchanged wedding rings in a tender moment, deeply gazing into each other’s eyes and sharing sweet smiles.
Crying for Najib’s Absence
The ceremony was not only a celebration of love but also a poignant reminder of familial bonds. Ashman Najib expressed his sadness over his father’s absence in a heartfelt speech.
A video on Sin Chew Daily captured Ashman visibly moved and tearful, mentioning his father’s inability to attend the ceremony, yet happy to welcome a warm new family member like Nikola.
Even though my dearest father is unable to be here with us today could not be here today, it derives great comfort that our closest friends and family are in this hall.”
Nikola, standing beside him during the speech, was seen wiping away her tears too.
