Former prime minister Najib Razak has been admitted to Kuala Lumpur Hospital (HKL) after he tested positive for Covid-19, reported The Vibes.
This was confirmed in a statement by his special officer, Muhamad Mukhlis Maghribi.

Najib, who’s currently serving a 12-year sentence for his involvement in the 1MDB scandal, was rushed to HKL after he experienced high fever. Doctors later reaffirmed that he had indeed contracted Covid-19.
Muhamad added that Najib is currently in a stable condition and is observing quarantine while receiving treatment.
He also thanked the staff at Kajang Prison and HKL for their swift action in attending to the ex-prime minister.
