For every Malaysian, there’s never a day that goes by without the ‘King of the Road’ getting involved in humorous shenanigans with or without fault of its own.
To the surprise of absolutely no one, the Perodua Myvi has once again achieved online fame with its antics, this time involving a driver who couldn’t differentiate between the car and motorbike entrance at a shopping mall.
Myvi drives into motorbike entrance by mistake at Setia City Mall
In a 26-second clip shared on TikTok by a user named @its.buzzzzz, it begins with a group of motorcyclists gathering and looking on with curiosity at the parking entrance of Setia City Mall.
Turns out they were watching a Perodua Myvi driver trying his best to get out of a particularly sticky situation: he apparently had driven into the motorbike entrance by mistake.
Although the Myvi driver did whatever he could to free the car from the entrance ramp, he was unable to due to the barriers set up in place.
One of the motorcyclists was seen trying to direct the driver on how to reverse the Myvi out and exit from the parking entrance but it’s not known whether it was successful or not.
Honest mistake or ignorance?
The clip, which has since garnered over 470,000 views at the time of writing, saw netizens amused by how the Myvi got itself into such an awkward position.
One joked: ‘Myvi is the boss. Whatever a motorcycle can do, the King can do the same too.’
Another commented: ‘Setia City Mall is quite confusing as most can’t tell the difference between the car and motorbike parking (entrance).’
Meanwhile, some commented that the Myvi could’ve solved the problem by simply reversing the car instead of turning the wheels.
