Former prime minister Muhyiddin Yassin tests positive for COVID-19

The Bersatu president is experiencing light symptoms.

KUALA LUMPUR – Ex-prime minister Muhyiddin Yassin has tested positive for COVID-19 after taking a Reaction Transcription Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) test.

In a Facebook post, he said that he was experiencing light symptoms and will undergo home quarantine.

I am only showing mild symptoms. Other than that, my condition is good.

He also implored those who came in close contact with him to obey the SOPs and to remain safe and healthy.

“To any of my close contacts, my advice is to follow the Health Ministry’s protocols. Please pray for my health and those of my family,” he wrote.
