Voters are disappointed with the lies from Pakatan Harapan and BN leaders during the general election campaign. A lot of their supporters voted for PN (in Padang Serai).

“To me, the lies told by Harapan and BN are the ‘biggest electoral fraud ever’ and (last night) the voters in Padang Serai and Tioman have given a clear signal they do not approve of the two coalitions,” he wrote.

BN wins Tioman, PH loses Padang Serai

PN’s Azman Nasrudin defeated PH’s Sofee Razak with a 16,260-vote majority for the Padang Serai parliamentary seat effectively ending PH’s three-term rule.

The Padang Serai election was postponed to December 7 after incumbent M Karupaiya died three days before polling day on Nov 19.

As for Tioman, it was won by BN’s Johari Hussain with a 573-vote slim majority. Like Padang Serai, the election was also postponed after PN candidate Yunus Ramli passed away.
