There are many ways in which one has fun with friends and one of them is by challenging to a friendly contest to see who would pay for a meal.
A group of Malaysians recently went viral after a clip showed them braving torrential rains at a stall just to see who would be the first to get up and thus foot the bill.

In a 35-second TikTok clip shared by local volleyball coach named Coach Aizzat, it showed him having a meal with several friends at a stall at Jijan, Nilai Lama in Seremban while it was drizzling slightly.
According to the video caption, Coach Aizzat wrote that the group thought it was just “a passing cloud” and decided to place a bet, where the who stood up and left while the raindrops were pelting them would have to pay for everyone’s meal.
However, a huge raincloud came and began showering down large, relentless raindrops on the group, causing them to be totally drenched.
Nonetheless, none of them budged from their seat and continued to remain seated even as the rain thoroughly soaked through their clothes.
Their antics even caught the attention of the stall owner, who took a video of them literally braving the storm.
In a follow-up video, Coach Aizzat revealed that none of them caught a fever from sitting in the rain and they even went back to the same stall to eat. However, he didn’t disclose who paid for the meal in the end.
Mixed responses
The clip has since gained more than 2.7 million views at the time of writing along with thousands of comments.
Some netizens expressed jealousy over the strong friendship the group shared, with one adding that it had unlocked a core memory.
On the other hand, some expressed concern for the group’s health, saying that sitting in the rain would cause them to fall sick.
