Most of us believe that politicians are always serious, working toward a better future. We especially assume that things get serious in the meeting room. Well, guess what—maybe they’re not!
Recently, a video was posted by the Deputy Minister of Finance, @huiying_lim, on her official TikTok account.
Ministers were seen dancing during meeting
In the video, various ministers were seen stretching and moving their bodies in a large conference room. It appeared as though they were casually dancing together during a meeting.
Minister of Youth & Sports, Hannah Yeoh, UMNO President Zahid Hamidi, also danced a bit. Hui Ying further elaborated that the aim was to ensure everyone stayed attentive and energized throughout the meeting.
“It was just a light exercise”
The minister quickly addressed the misconceptions about the video, explaining to her followers that the ministers were not dancing. “Were the ministers dancing at work? Of course not! We were actually taking a quick break to do some light exercises,” she stated in the video caption.
The light exercise aimed to help everyone maintain focus on their routines.
