Dreamed of a unique number plate? Well, JPJ is doing it again! They’re not just giving out any plate, they’ve just added a touch of humor too.
The Road Transport Department (JPJ) just dropped the news that Malaysians can jump into an open bidding for the latest number plate featuring the letters ‘DEY.’

According to the poster, the bidding period starts on February 12 and ends at 10 pm on February 16. The results will be announced on February 17.
Those interested in snagging the number plate can place their bids on JPJ’s e-bidding website by clicking HERE.
M’sians are amused
Malaysians are having a good laugh about it because, you see, ‘DEY’ is a casual Tamil term used to call someone or get their attention.
The fact that JPJ picked it for bidding has everyone wondering and diving into a pool of laughter.
“Deyy Macha. I used to often hear this when I was in the east.”

“I can already hear the sound near my ear.”

On the other hand, some were seen sharing the viral ‘DEY’ meme gif in the comment section, adding hilarity to this post even more.
