Thanks to this lady who shared this clip on TikTok, over 8.2 million viewers have now been dazzled by what’s possibly the crispest, most stunning rainbow sighting in Malaysia, all from the comfort of their screens.
This rainbow isn’t playing hide and seek. Instead, it boldly marks its territory on a road near Bentong, Pahang, with colors so vivid, it’s as if the sky turned into a canvas for a masterpiece.
During the 20-second clip, drivers and passengers alike were seen veering towards the emergency lane, drawn by the irresistible allure of capturing this ephemeral beauty or simply marveling at its brilliance.

Another WeirdKaya reader, @sebastianesaw on Instagram, also encountered the rainbow. While driving on Expy Highway, they chanced upon the sight near Bukit Bulatan Mempaga.
They pinpointed the exact location to Jalan Ulu Kali Lembah Klau, where only a faint section of the rainbow remained, too light to photograph.
They first spotted it at 6:27 pm, and it was still visible when they reached a nearby palm oil plantation at 7:00 pm.

Interestingly, she told WeirdKaya there weren’t many others in pursuit—perhaps the highway’s own beauty was enough, or maybe it was just inconvenient to stop.
