During the self-introduction session, a participant went by the name ‘Baby.’ This bothered the organizer because she had already made it clear that only real names, not nicknames, were to be used.
To her surprise, the participant, identified as “Baby Girl Binti Ariffin,” confirmed that it was indeed her legal name, even providing her Identification Card.
Upon seeing the proof provided, the organizer then apologized, saying, “I’m really sorry, Ms. Baby Girl. I sincerely apologize,” as mentioned in her post.

The 37-year-old Sabahan explained that her name doesn’t hold any profound meaning, it was an impromptu choice that has now become a source of amusement for those who come across it.
When asked about people’s reactions, she shared, “They will be surprised because it’s funny and unique.”
Interestingly, her siblings have conventional names, making hers stand out even more.
Embracing her distinct name, she mentioned being affectionately called “Aunty Baby” in her neighborhood.
