A local woman thought she was done for after she found herself caught in a long queue at the airport security with only 10 minutes to spare before her flight took off.
However, she never expected that those who were in front of her in the queue graciously let her cut the line so that she could catch her flight in time.
Was worried about missing flight
In a Facebook post shared on June 1, the woman, Maggie Ho, said she barely made it to the airport on time due to unforeseen circumstances.
There, she had to wait for her turn at the security check queue which was rather long, causing her to wonder whether she’d be able to board her flight back to Johor.

When Maggie saw that several people in front were holding Malaysian passports, she asked whether they were boarding the same flight as hers, to which they answered in the negative.
Helping her out
When the other passengers found out about Maggie’s boarding time, they quickly sprung into action by explaining her situation to those in line and telling them to lhttps://weirdkaya.com/woman-from-china-touched-by-msian-man-who-waited-2-hours-with-her-for-tow-truck/et her cut the queue.
The queue had Chinese and Indian people, most of them Malaysians, and a few friends from Singapore. We did not know each other, yet they would help a stranger.
“One of them even reminded me to tell the security staff about me rushing to catch my flight,” she wrote.

Touched by kindness
Thanks to the travellers’ act of kindness, Maggie was able to board her flight in time and expressed gratefulness, saying that the “Satu Malaysia” slogan wasn’t just empty words, but an embodiment of strangers banding together to helping others.
She added that before she left the security check area, she turned around and bowed to those who let her cut the queue.
In response, they merely smiled and waved at her to tell her to board her flight immediately.
