A son who hoped that his mother would commend him for his SPM results was left crushed and discouraged after he was told to retake the exam just because he didn’t get an A for every subject.

Taking to TikTok to vent his frustration, a netizen named @bryanbounn shared a screenshot of his SPM results, which showed that he scored 6As, 2Bs, and 1E.
While the single ‘E’ grade put a dent on his overall performance, his results were what most would consider to still be decent.
However, when the OP shared his results with his mother, her response was less than thrilling, where not only did she not give him a word of praise but proceeded to compare his results with his older brother.
To add salt to the wound, she told him that his results were “less than satisfactory” and instructed him to re-sit SPM next year as she wanted him to score an A+ for all subjects.
