A Malaysian woman has sparked online backlash after claiming she received a tiny portion of noodles priced at RM18.25 from a halal Chinese restaurant franchise in Puncak Alam.
Taking to Threads, she alleged that the serving she received was noticeably smaller than what she had been given during previous visits to the same eatery.
“Way smaller than before”
In her post, the woman shared photos showing what appeared to be a small portion of flat rice noodles packed in a takeaway container.

According to her, the dish was ordered through a food delivery platform and cost RM18.25. She claimed that the portion size did not match what she had previously received from the outlet.
She also pointed out that the amount of gravy in the container seemed to far exceed the portion of noodles, describing the serving as “child-sized”.

No refund from delivery platform
In the comments section, the woman added that the food delivery platform did not issue her a refund after she raised the issue.
Frustrated by the experience, she said she would be boycotting both the platform and the restaurant moving forward.
The eatery chain is believed to be located in Puncak Alam, though the specific outlet was not disclosed in her post.
Netizens question value for money
Her post quickly gained traction, with many netizens questioning how the eatery could justify charging above average prices for what appeared to be a small portion.
Some users claimed they had experienced similar situations, alleging that their servings were also smaller than expected.
“How did he even fry such a small portion like that? Doesn’t he feel embarrassed, bro? 😔😔”

“Looks like they forgot the gravy hahaha. It wasn’t even fully packed yet and the staff already gave it to the rider 😂”

“Eh, is this unfinished food? Hahaha”
