A woman was left puzzled after her online shopping parcel allegedly disappeared right after it was marked as delivered.
The incident went viral after she shared CCTV footage on Threads, showing a delivery rider taking a photo of the parcel outside her home before allegedly putting it back into his delivery bag and riding away.
Chose same day delivery as she urgently needed the clothes
In her Threads post, the woman said she had ordered clothes online and selected the same day delivery option as she urgently needed them.
However, things did not go as expected. In the CCTV footage she shared, a male delivery rider can be seen arriving at her home on a motorcycle.
He then took a parcel out from the delivery bag attached to his motorcycle and placed it outside the house.

The rider later took a photo of the parcel, believed to be for proof of delivery.
Rider allegedly took the parcel back
What happened next left her confused.
After taking the delivery photo, the rider was seen picking up the parcel again and placing it back into his delivery bag before riding away.
The woman questioned whether the rider had genuinely forgotten to leave the parcel behind, or whether it was intentional.

Did he really forget to leave it there, or was he trying to steal it?” she wrote in her post.
She also tagged the delivery platform involved and urged them to investigate the incident.
Delivery account allegedly showed a female profile
The woman also raised another concern over the rider’s identity.According to her, the delivery platform showed the rider’s profile photo as a woman.
However, the person seen delivering the parcel in the CCTV footage was a man.
This led her to suspect that the rider could have been using someone else’s delivery account.

Before requesting a refund, she said she had already contacted both the seller and the delivery platform’s customer service to lodge a complaint.
As of the time of writing, the delivery platform has yet to respond publicly to the incident.
Netizens urge her to lodge a police report
The incident has since sparked concern among netizens, with many advising the woman to lodge a police report.
“That’s why when buying things online, I prefer COD. People can’t steal it.”

“That’s why you’re not supposed to lend your ID to anyone, because if they do stupid things, the account owner gets affected.

“Pity the seller, they already had to refund, and the item wasn’t returned.Ma’am, you can put a CCTV signage at the mailbox, if you haven’t put one yet. Like me, I put a CCTV sign in front of the gate, even though it’s just a dummy one, so couriers will be more careful when placing items.”
