# M’sian Woman Passes Out & Dies While Having A Meal With Family At Kuching Kopitiam

##### What was supposed to be a time of fellowship between a woman and her family ended in tragedy when she suddenly lost consciousness and subsequently passed away.

According to [Sin Chew Daily](https://www.sinchew.com.my/?p=7328395) and [China Press](https://www.chinapress.com.my/?p=4839652), the incident took place at a *kopitiam* in Kuching, Sarawak, at around 2pm yesterday (Mar 8).

Not long after the woman passed out, other patrons quickly laid her flat on a plastic chair while her family members called for an ambulance.
