A close call unfolded when a woman narrowly avoided a head-on collision with an out-of-control lorry while driving on Jalan Mardi, Kluang.
The incident, believed to be caused by slippery road conditions, occurred yesterday (10th) at 5:37 PM.
Fortunately, her quick reflexes and timely maneuvering of the steering wheel allowed her to escape unscathed as no vehicles were passing in the opposite lane.
Narrowly escape it
The female driver later uploaded the footage captured by her dashcam to TikTok on her account, “@khamsariah“.
In her post, she expressed her lingering fear despite narrowly escaping the accident.
“I managed to avoid it, but I’m still shaken by the experience!” She wrote.
The video shows the lorry veering into the wrong lane at a turn before crashing into the roadside barrier, narrowly missing her.
She was driving slowly because of the rain
The woman stated that she was grateful for the fortunate outcome.
Due to the wet road conditions and her slower driving speed, she was able to react swiftly, braking and steering away in time to prevent the lorry from crashing into her vehicle.
Reflecting on the incident, she felt incredibly lucky to have escaped and urged fellow drivers to remain vigilant on the roads.
She emphasized the importance of paying close attention to road conditions to prevent accidents that could occur in a split second.
