Living at an apartment means sharing a common corridor with other people, but not many would go the extra mile in making sure it’s squeaky clean for all to use.
A local woman recently went viral with a post which showed her dedication in ensuring her apartment floor’s corridor was clean as a whistle while burning some calories along the way too.
Mopped entire corridor all by herself
In a Threads post by Izzati, she showed photographs of the freshly mopped corridor on her apartment floor which was still wet from one end to the other and having not a single speck of dirt on it.
In the caption, she joked that she had reached an “insane” level where she was willing to mop the entire corridor just because she had a late dinner.
“Since I’m too lazy to exercise in any other form, I might as well do something useful for the community. That’s all,” she quipped.
The post has since garnered more than 40,000 likes at the time of writing.
Healthy habit
In a brief interview with WeirdKaya, Izzati said none of her neighbours had any idea of what she did as she mopped the corridor past 11pm.
She also said she never expected her post to blow up as she just decided to share the incident “by random”.
When asked whether she plans to continue doing what she did in the future, Izzati said she had mopped the corridor many times due to having high blood sugar levels.
“I make it a point to have some form of movement after eating, and I mop the corridor as having a brisk walk this late at night outside is dangerous,” she explained.

Izzati’s post attracted widespread amusement from netizens, who praised her for her dedication in keeping herself healthy and maintaining the corridor’s cleanliness.
