A routine evening commute turned tense for passengers at Abdullah Hukum LRT station after a woman reportedly slipped and fell onto the tracks, leaving her injured and briefly disrupting train services.
Fell onto tracks while waiting for train
The incident is believed to have taken place earlier this evening, when the 39-year-old woman was waiting for the LRT.
According to reports, she lost her footing and slipped on her own, causing her to fall onto the tracks below.

The situation quickly escalated when she became trapped beneath the train, prompting an emergency response.
Firefighters rushed to rescue trapped victim
The Kuala Lumpur Fire and Rescue Department’s Operations Centre said it received a distress call at 6.19pm regarding a victim trapped at the scene.
A team of nine firefighters, along with two fire engines from the Pantai Fire and Rescue Station, were immediately dispatched.
Upon arriving at 6.24pm, rescuers found the woman pinned beneath the LRT.
She was successfully extricated at 6.38pm, about 20 minutes after firefighters reached the scene.
Sustained injuries, sent to hospital
The woman suffered injuries to her hands and face during the fall.
She was given initial treatment at the scene before being transported to Hospital Kuala Lumpur for further medical care.

Brickfields district police chief Assistant Commissioner Hoo Chang Hook later confirmed that police had received reports of the incident.
Preliminary investigations indicate that no foul play was involved, with the incident believed to have occurred due to the victim slipping while waiting for the train.
Panic at station as services halted
Earlier, the incident had caused panic among commuters at the station.
Several posts circulating on Threads described a chaotic scene, with passengers expressing concern as emergency responders arrived.

Train services were believed to have been temporarily halted during the rescue operation.
Some social media users also claimed that the woman was still alive when she was found, sitting and moving very little while waiting for help.
Services resume with slight delays
In a statement, Rapid Rail confirmed that train services have since resumed as normal.
Alternative train arrangements that were implemented during the incident have been terminated.
However, commuters have been advised that waiting times may still be slightly longer as train frequency is being gradually adjusted.
While the situation has since stabilised, the incident serves as a reminder for commuters to remain cautious and stay behind safety lines while waiting for trains.
