A woman had her head split open and bled profusely after she got hit by a bicycle which was thrown off from the 12th floor of a flat in Kuala Terengganu yesterday (Mar 25).
According to Berita Harian, the incident took place at a peopleโs housing project (PPR) building in Padang Hiliran.
Mโsian woman hit by bicycle thrown off 12th floor
The Malay daily reported that the victim was 43-year-old Azuraini Yazid, an assistant at a Kemas preschool in Pasir Panjang who was on her way to throw some rubbish out.
Her husband, Jusri Ibrahim, said he suddenly saw his wife collapsing to the ground and losing consciousness after she got struck by a bicycle which was thrown off the 12th floor.

She was later rushed to the Sultanah Nur Zahirah Hospital (HSNZ) after receiving emergency treatment from several medical officers.
At the emergency unit, Azuraini received five stitches to the head but thankfully is now in a stable condition.
Jusri said he later confronted the owner of the bicycle, who admitted that it belonged to his son but claimed another person had tossed it off the 12th floor, adding he has lodged a police report.
Culprit still not identified
Kuala Terengganu police chief Assistant Commissioner Azli Mohd Noor said police have recorded the statement of a resident who confirmed ownership of the bicycle but denied having a part in the incident.

โSo far, the investigation is ongoing. The victimโs condition is stable, and she was allowed to return home early this morning,โ he said.
This isnโt the first time things have been thrown off upper floors of PPR flats, with one instance involving a TV which was thrown and landed on a parked car in Taman Seri Intan in Ampang, Selangor, in April 2018.
In January 2018, a 15-year-old boy was killed after a chair believed to have been thrown from the top floor of the Seri Pantai PPR building in Pantai Dalam fell on top of him.
