Didn’t turn up for work in S’pore
Chong’s younger brother told China Press that she works in Singapore as a home fragrance retail worker and rents a unit at R&F to ease her travelling, adding that she didn’t show up for work for two days.
Meanwhile, Chong’s cousin-in-law said Chong had just returned from a trip to China on Tuesday (Nov 3) and appeared completely normal.
However, when the friend who traveled with her could not contact her the next day, she got in touch with her family immediately. CCTV footage later showed that Chong had left the condo on the morning of Nov 5.

Chong’s cousin-in-law added that Chong was a very frugal person who rarely steps out of the house except for work, and had never mentioned facing financial difficulties.
Found safely
Fortunately, nothing untoward happened and Chong was eventually found by her family early this morning, as announced by one of her relatives.
In the caption, Chong told her family that she was facing some situations which brought her emotional distress and psychological pressure, leading her to vanish for the past few days.
