What was supposed to be a rather calm journey to the hospital for a couple took an unexpected turn when the woman began experiencing labour pains along the way.
Thankfully, everything turned out well and a healthy baby boy was born right inside their car in Penang.
Told husband she was bleeding
Speaking to Kosmo! about the incident, Muhammad Fazrey Sani said his wife, Natasha Adilla Hafidzin, informed him she was bleeding after he returned from performing subuh prayer at around 6.30am.
However, she didn’t experience any labour pains or contractions at the time.

Worried about the situation, Muhammad Fazrey decided to take his wife to Penang General Hospital after dropping off their eldest child at the babysitter’s house at around 7.10am.
He also packed some food for his wife so that she won’t go hungry during the journey.
‘She couldn’t hold it in anymore’
Along the way, Natasha began experiencing contractions, causing her to groan in pain.
She really couldn’t bear it anymore. The roads were also very congested as it was peak hour with people heading to work.

“I immediately called an ambulance for assistance and asked for the other cars to give way so that I could stop the vehicle to make it easier for medical personnel to locate us,” recounted Muhammad Fazrey.
When the ambulance arrived, Natasha couldn’t be transported into it as the baby’s head had started to appear. 10 minutes later, she safely delivered a baby boy inside the car with the help of a nurse.
Natasha was eventually carried into the ambulance by her husband to be taken to the hospital once things stabilised.

The baby boy was named Muhammad Luth Faeeq, and Muhammad Fazrey said that the unexpected birth of his son had become an “unforgettable experience” for the family.
Congratulations to the couple on the birth of their second child!
