What was supposed to be a normal makan date at a restaurant quickly turned into a full-blown drama scene and no, not the romantic kind.
According to a witness, the couple looked fine at first, until the guy suddenly raised his voice at the girl:
How can you not help me pay for my food? If you can’t do this, you’re not fit to be my wife. Can’t even share hardship together.”
Instead of entertaining his nonsense, the woman coolly stood up, walked to the counter, and settled her own meal only. Before leaving, she told the staff: “Whatever he ate, ask him to pay for himself.”
Guy tries to call for backup
Left red-faced, the guy scrambled around making calls, seemingly trying to get friends to bring him cash. The whole restaurant was apparently giggling at the scene.
In the end, one kind uncle stepped in to help pay for his food. But the restaurant boss couldn’t resist giving him a reality check:
Every time you come here, there’s always a woman paying for you. Aren’t you embarrassed? If you don’t have a job, you can work here.”
Completely humiliated, the guy walked out quietly.
