A young woman has taken to TikTok to recount how she was allegedly assaulted in broad daylight by a random stranger at the Maluri MRT station.
And it seemed that she wasn’t the only one to encounter such incidents, with netizens sharing similar experiences at the same location.
Allegedly got slapped at Maluri MRT station
In a more than 2-minute clip posted by the woman named Tiffany, she said she parked her car at the Maluri MRT station at around 5pm and was making her way to the station.

However, nothing could have prepared her for what came her way in the form of a woman approaching her and landing a slap on her left ear.
It was so painful. I froze in my tracks for five seconds and I was like, ‘Hell, no. She didn’t just attack me in broad daylight?! With people looking in public?’
“Honestly, I wished I could have defended myself, but she literally just hit and run. Like, for real,” she said.
Tiffany added that once she regained her composure, she took out her phone and began recording the woman who slapped her, where she only managed to capture her back.

Tiffany said that throughout her many years of parking her car at the Maluri MRT station, she never thought she would be assaulted in public by a random person.
“It’s a totally scary situation because what if she (the woman) had a weapon? If she were to attack me, I would be gone as I didn’t see it coming.”
Netizens share similar stories
And it seemed that Tiffany wasn’t the only one who got assaulted at the Maluri MRT station as netizens came forward their own equally wild stories.
‘Girl, MRT Maluri is for real crazyyyy. Once, an old man flashed his KKJ (private parts) in front of me there.’

‘The same thing happened to me and I was traumitised. I wasn’t slapped on the ear but on the face. YES, THE FACE.’

‘Girl!! I’m glad you’re alright. I used to work near Maluri, and I was followed all the way to the toilet by an old man. The cleaner aunty yelled at him till he left. I was too scared to take the MRT after that.’

It was later reported that Prasarana, the operator of the MRT network, contacted Tiffany and told her that additional security measures have been enforced at the Maluri MRT station to stop such incidents from occurring.
