The Viral ‘Sugar Bezza’ case reaches a sweet resolution! As revealed by the car owner herself, Perodua has officially agreed to buy back her defective car at the full price.
For a quick recap, Nagakanni Subramaniam, a clerk, recently purchased a Perodua Bezza 1.3X, which broke down just hours after she bought it, leading to a public plea for a resolution.

Despite Perodua’s initial offer to buy back her car, Nagakanni remained skeptical about the lack of a clear, written resolution, while emphasizing the heavy loan burden she was currently bearing.
“Buy back Sugar Bezza with full price”
In a recent development, Nagakanni confirmed in a post that Perodua has officially agreed to repurchase her car at the full original price. This decision effectively cancels her remaining loan payments and ensures a full refund of all previous payments.
Additionally, Perodua presented Nagakanni with two options: she can either purchase a second car with the same monthly loan rate, or she can decline this offer and select a different vehicle.
Nagakanni has a seven-day window to make her decision.
Expressing her gratitude, Nagakanni thanked Perodua for this resolution and acknowledged the community’s support, highlighting the power of collective action. Her story underscores the impact of unity in challenging large corporations.
