Residents at an apartment in Farlim, Penang were left horrified following a tragic fall which took the life of a young woman.
According to Oriental Daily and China Press, the incident took place this morning at around 11.30am.
Had argument with BF
According to preliminary investigations, the victim, 27-year-old Chen Shuqing (transliteration), had been living in the apartment with her boyfriend.

Before the fall, Chen returned home with her younger brother and reportedly got into an argument with her boyfriend.
In the heat of the moment, Chen allegedly opened the window grille and subsequently fell to her death from the 17th floor.
Neighbours who heard a loud sound quickly went to check and found that her body had landed on the roof at the fourth floor.

Police later turned up at the scene and cordoned off the area to prevent the public from interfering with investigations.
Chen’s boyfriend and brother have since been questioned by police to assist in determining the events that led to Chen’s demise and her body was sent to the Penang General Hospital mortuary for a post-mortem to determine the cause of death.
