Being sick is never a fun thing to go through, especially when it gets in our way of enjoying our favourite food, even if it’s for a short while.
However, there are those who will brave through the pain and discomfort in order just to fulfill their cravings, to the point where they would bring a part of the hospital with them too!
M’sian woman eats at hotpot restaurant with IV drip still attached
In a photo shared by a hotpot restaurant located within the Sutera Mall in Johor Bahru, it showed a young woman clad in a grey hoodie picking ingredients at a hotpot restaurant.
Beside her stood an older woman, believed to be a relative, looking on while the young woman decides which ingredients to go for.
On a closer look however, it shows the older woman holding an IV bag whose tube was still connected to the needle inserted into the younger woman’s hand.
In the caption, the hotpot restaurant expressed surprise over the woman’s persistence in dropping by its premise despite being ill but still thanked her for her show of support.
Thank you to this lady for her deep love for the restaurant, to the point where she would come with an IV drip too. We wish you a speedy recovery too!”
Netizens amused by woman’s dedication
In the comment section, netizens couldn’t hold back their surprise and admiration for the lengths the woman went just to fix her mala cravings.
One noted that her turning up at the restaurant with the IV drip still attached to her was proof that she was a “real loyal fan”.
Another jokingly asked whether it was possible to directly inject the mala soup into her veins. Not sure whether it’s a good idea though.
Another shared a photo of his friend stopping by a fast food restaurant along with the IV drip and pole as well.
