Every now and then, we would cross paths with drivers who simply don’t care about others or park indiscriminately, causing inconvenience for other motorists.
A woman was filmed having less-than-superb parking skills and instead of apologising or rectifying the matter, she lost her temper and in turn filmed the complainant out of retaliation.
Woman confronted for parking car beyond the line
In a 20-second clip shared to the Facebook group 甲洞吹水站 on Saturday (Apr 6), it showed a man filming a black BMW which was parked rather badly, where one of its rear wheels was outside of the space lines.
In the background, the man could be heard saying: “Look at this car. It’s parked (with the wheel outside of the line)…take a look at this.”
But before he could finish his sentence, a middle-aged woman suddenly emerged from the passenger’s side of the car and stormed towards him while asking whether he was “looking for trouble”.
She also whipped out her phone to take a photo of the man before sauntering back to the BMW and slamming its door shut.
In the caption, the OP wrote: “Aunties these days are so weird. Parked the car beyond the line and even came out to scold me. She even took photos of me and my car plate number and said that I was looking for trouble. Ridiculous.”
According to comments in the thread, the incident allegedly took place at Aman Puri, KL.
‘Not fit to drive a BMW’
The video has since gone viral since it was first posted, where it garnered 2,300 reactions and 1,100 comments so far.
A majority of netizens slammed the woman for her reaction, saying that she was in the wrong and had no right to lash out at the man.
‘So embarrassing. With such skills, please don’t embarrass BMW drivers and go drive a Kancil, Wira, or Saga instead.’
‘For crying out loud, if you don’t know how to drive a BMW, don’t do so!’
‘I think this auntie bought her driving license instead of passing the exam.’
Pro tip: the next time you see a driver not parking their car properly, you can consider putting this drawing on their windscreen:
Happy driving!
