We all probably know of someone whose personal hygiene is less than stellar, but this woman’s story takes the cake by far.
In what is most likely the wildest story to date, she posted a lengthy post about how she witnessed for herself the deplorable lack of hygiene a friend of hers had.
Always gave off a funky smell
According to the Threads post, the OP wrote that a foul odour would always emit from her friend whenever she sat cross-legged.
On one particular occasion, the odour hit the OP’s nostrils when she was about to have a meal with her friend, causing her to lose her appetite immediately and confront the latter over text.
What she was told next was to shock her for years to come.
Never changed underwear and skipped showers for 5 days
According to the friend, she claimed her mum never taught her to wipe her private parts after peeing or wear pantyliners.
Thus, whatever discharge would cling to her underwear and to top things off, she wouldn’t wash them but would just wear them again, sometimes for up to two days.
The OP also recounted that when she and her friend were housemates, the latter simply left her period-stained underwear in the toilet and went back to her hometown without washing them.
When I texted her, she replied, ‘Can you wash them for me? I’ll be back next week.’ Like what?? No way am I washing someone else’s underwear!” she exclaimed.
The OP further alleged that her friend didn’t shower for five straight days and merely washed her face and chewed on bubblegum.
To make things worse, her friend reportedly feasted on spoiled food, not because she was broke, but simply because she found them to “taste better”.
At the end of the post, the OP said her story was a real account as it happened during her three-year study at university and called upon others to be aware of their personal hygiene.
