M’sian Woman Caught Stealing Raw Ingredients From Box Placed Outside JB Restaurant

The restaurant offered to cook her a meal provided she didn't steal again.
Stealing, no matter the circumstance, is the wrong thing as it involves taking things that doesn’t belong to you.

A restaurant in Johor Bahru (JB) is appealing to a woman who was recently caught stealing raw ingredients from them to own up to her actions.

‘If you’re in need, please tell us’

Needless to say, the restaurant was dismayed by the woman’s actions and urged her not to steal from them anymore.

“We work hard to run the restaurant by waking up early and working late every day, all to serve every customer with care. Buying ingredients, preparing them, and cooking—all of these involve costs and effort.

If you’re truly in need, please come and tell us. We can cook you a warm meal, but please don’t harm our hard work and disrupt our business in this way.

“Every ingredient is meant to ensure a great experience for our customers; every act of theft disregards our labor,” it wrote in the post.

The restaurant also warned the woman that if she were to be caught in the act again, they will not hesitate to pursue legal action against her in order to “protect our rights and interests”.

It also called upon the woman “cherish the trust and respect between people” while “striving to be an upright person.”
