M’sian woman breaks stone mortar while making ayam gepuk
In a short 9-second clip shared by @nazmiera10 on TikTok, it began with a snippet of Khairul Aming showing how to make sambal with a stone mortar and pestle for ayam gepuk, a popular Malaysian dish.
The clip then cuts to the OP’s attempt in making the same sambal, except that it ended up with her breaking the stone mortar into half and the crushed chilies evenly spread on both sides.

The clip, which has racked up 3.1 million views at the time of writing, saw netizens expressing amusement and amazement over the OP’s unintended destruction of the stone mortar.

Even Khairul Aming himself commented on the clip, where he expressed bewilderment by asking, “What’s wrong with this year’s batch?’
