We don’t like to be told what to do, especially when it comes to doing something we have no interest in such as house chores. And when we don’t, our parents will nag incessantly at us.
Unfortunately, a woman who was unable to control her temper totally lost it and found herself injuring her son with a knife due to his refusal to help around the house.
M’sian woman allegedly stabs son with knife over house chores
Harian Metro reported that the incident took place at around 11am at Kampung Changkat Gombak last Friday (Jan 5).

Following the alleged stabbing, the 12-year-old victim sustained injuries to his hands and legs and managed to escape before being rescued by a neighbor who contacted the police.
Sources told the Malay daily that a team of patrol unit members (MPV) was dispatched to the scene and examined the victim’s condition, where he claimed he was stabbed by his mother with a knife at home.
Arrested by police
When contacted by Harian Metro, Selangor Police Chief Datuk Hussein Omar Khan confirmed the incident and said the woman was detained at around 1am on Saturday (Jan 6).
“During the interrogation, the woman confessed to scolding her son for not helping with household chores.

“In the midst of the altercation, the vegetable knife she was holding came in contact with the victim, causing injuries to his hands and legs.
“The victim was sent for treatment and received between four to five stitches,” he said.
Hussein said the case is now being investigated under Section 324 of the Penal Code for voluntarily causing hurt with dangerous weapons, which carries a jail term of up to 10 years, a fine, whipping, or any two of these punishments, upon conviction.
