Behind a sharp and stylish appearance, sacrifices and costs are inevitable. This is the reality for a young man who splurged on a high-powered motorcycle to look good.
At just 26, his salary had reached RM6,000, but his spending habits left him with only RM50 to survive until the next payday, according to mStar.
He openly shared on social media how his desire for a superbike intensified after getting involved in this ‘expensive hobby’.
Despite his relatively modest income, he went ahead and purchased a BMW superbike, which costs at least RM129,500.
“Regret. People were right, superbikes are for the wealthy,” he admitted.
“Now it’s only mid-month, and after renewing the road tax, servicing, and everything else, I’m left with just RM50 for food,” he lamented on social media.
Seeing his bank balance dwindling, he realized his spending was not on necessities. With the little money left, he was unsure if he could make it to the next payday.
“I’m not sure if I can survive until the end of the month,” he said in frustration.
“It’s never enough if you’re extravagant”
