M’sian Wife Upset After Discovering E-Hailing Husband Took Photo Of Drunk Female Passenger & Shares It In Group

Her husband refused to acknowledge that his actions were inappropriate.
A Malaysian woman was left upset after discovering that her husband had allegedly taken photos of an intoxicated female passenger without her knowledge while working part time as an e-hailing driver.

According to mStar, she had never suspected anything unusual despite her husband frequently working until late at night.

However, she stumbled upon the photos by chance after accessing an iPad at home that was connected to her husband’s iCloud account.

Found photos through connected iCloud account

The woman said she had switched on the iPad simply to look through some photos when she came across a selfie taken by her husband.

In the photo, her husband could be seen posing while a female passenger was asleep in the back seat.

The woman claimed the passenger appeared to be intoxicated and was unaware that the photo had been taken.

“There were two photos. The first showed my husband’s face and the woman behind him. The second showed her whole body. She was wearing a short dress and her underwear could be seen.”

Shocked by what she saw, the wife confronted her husband about the photos.

Husband allegedly said it was ‘just for fun’

According to her, her husband explained that he had only taken the photos to share them with a WhatsApp group consisting of fellow e-hailing drivers.

However, she was disturbed that he apparently did not see anything wrong with what he had done.

“Of course it’s wrong. He took someone’s photo without her knowing and then shared it with his friends.”

She also questioned why he felt the need to photograph the passenger in such a vulnerable position in the first place.

“What was his intention in taking a photo like that? Are you that desperate or what? Am I wrong for getting angry?”

The woman stressed that her anger was not simply about jealousy.

Instead, she was more concerned about her husband taking and sharing an embarrassing image of another woman without her consent.

Wife says she was not accusing him of cheating

She added that she had never accused her husband of having an affair with the passenger.

Her main concern was the ethics behind secretly photographing someone who was asleep and allegedly intoxicated, particularly when the image exposed part of the passenger’s underwear.

The situation reportedly left her crying in the car as she felt hurt that her husband refused to acknowledge that his actions were inappropriate.

Netizens say husband crossed the line

Her post later drew attention online, with many netizens agreeing that she had every reason to confront her husband.

Some said the issue went beyond marital jealousy and involved the passenger’s privacy and dignity.

Others warned that secretly taking and circulating humiliating photos of another person could potentially lead to serious consequences if the passenger became aware of it.

Several also urged the husband not to repeat the act, even if he viewed it as nothing more than a joke among friends.
