In a moment of sheer disappointment, a customer discovered that the RM20 chicken he had purchased from a famous fast-food chain was undercooked, sparking immediate outrage.
According to China Press, the customer took to Facebook page to share his experience. He reported that upon tucking into his takeaway chicken at home, he found that the chicken leg was still raw.
Photos attached to the Facebook post revealed the interior of the chicken leg to be pinkish-red, with some meat still firmly adhered to the bone.
The receipt uploaded alongside the post revealed the implicated fast-food outlet to be located in Damansara Uptown.

The customer clarified in his post that his frustration was not over spending RM20 on undercooked chicken but that the incident had affected his appetite.
“Seeing this scene after packing it home really made me furious instantly. What a waste of my time to pack such terrible food. Can’t they hire professionals?” he lamented.
The post ignited a heated discussion among netizens.
Some speculated that the meat was not defrosted before it’s cooked.
