While fans around the world are eagerly awaiting for Marvel’s Fantastic Four: First Steps directed by Matt Shakman, one Malaysian has an extra reason to be excited as his name will appear in the film’s end credits.
Ahmad Hamidullah, a Malaysian creative working in the film industry, took to Threads recently to express his gratitude and pride at being part of the production crew for the highly anticipated MCU reboot.
Part of the post-production team
He revealed that his name is officially listed in the end credits, marking a proud personal milestone.
Alhamdulillah. Another year, another Marvel film. This time, I got credit in Fantastic Four.”

In the comments section, Ahmad explained that he worked on the post-production side of the film, specifically focusing on texture work for 3D assets.
Works on textures and 3D assets
He explained that he was involved in the post-production phase of the film, having previously worked on a couple of other Marvel movies and TV series.
His role specifically focused on handling textures, while his team based in Kuala Lumpur primarily managed 3D assets.
“For Fantastic Four, we worked mostly on scenes with Moleman and Subteranea. The retro bus and underground scenes — a lot of that was us.”

Ahmad also hinted that he would share more behind-the-scenes insights when the time is right.
Although this isn’t Ahmad’s first involvement with a Marvel production as he had previously worked on other films and shows under the franchise, this is the first time his name will officially appear in the credits—a recognition that means the world to him.
