In a TikTok video shared by user @shahzarms, an middle-aged uncle was captured cycling through waist-deep floodwater in Kota Tinggi, Johor.

In the video, the uncle was seen clad in a bright yellow raincoat and was cycling slowly through the floodwater which completely submerged the lower part of his body.

The OP then tried to get the uncle’s attention by yelling at him but he didn’t seem to notice.

After several more attempts, the OP and his friend finally managed to catch the uncle’s attention and urged him to turn back and head over towards higher ground at the shop lot area.

In a separate video, the uncle is heard explaining to the OP the reason why he cycled through the floodwater, and it turned out that he wanted to get some groceries from a nearby mart.

In response, the OP advised the uncle to take an alternative route instead of risking his safety by cycling through the floodwater as there was no telling how deep it was.
