If you’re an animal lover, it would certainly pain your heart if you saw one lying injured by the roadside with no one caring for it.
Rescues an injured dog
In a TikTok video by @airis.yasminn, it showed her tending to an injured dog which had a maggot-infested wound on its neck after it was attacked by stray dog.
She said that she saw the dog lying by the roadside but no one bothered to come to its aid.
Airis also revealed that the dog was named Georgie and had an owner who didn’t even know that he was in pain.
After successfully getting Georgie off the road, Airis tended to his wound by removing the maggots with her own hands as most of the veterinary clinics were closed.
She then tried to feed Georgie food and water but he refused, which broke her heart even more.
Dog dies the next day
Unfortunately, Airis woke up to devastating news from the owner, who told her Georgie had died.
In the comment section, Airis also called out the owner for neglecting Georgie and causing him to suffer by treating his wound using kerosene.
