Sometimes, it’s the little things that make the biggest difference.
A recent video from a football tournament has reminded everyone just how much love and kindness can unite people—no matter where they’re from or what language they speak.
The video, shared on TikTok by @mithresh_appa, shines a light on two teachers—one Malay and one Tamil—who displayed a simple yet powerful act of care.
During the tournament, the teachers were seen feeding their Tamil students with remarkable patience and love.

But it wasn’t just about giving food—it was about how they did it.
Before feeding their students, the teachers gently blew on the food to make sure it wasn’t too hot.
It was a thoughtful gesture that showed just how much they cared.

The way they interacted with the children, full of tenderness and warmth, felt more like a parent’s love than just a teacher’s duty.
Speaking with WeirdKaya, the original poster (OP), who is a proud father of one of the players, Mithresh Anand, shared more details about the touching moment.
The event took place last Saturday, December 7, 2024, during the MIFA U12 Football Tournament held at USM, Penang. The teachers involved, Madam Nora Jasdi and Madam Sangkeri, are from Sekolah Rendah Kebangsaan Ladang Jawi, where they teach preschoolers.
“I’m so touched seeing the teacher taking care of the students. I can see their bonding,” the OP expressed, clearly moved by the act of kindness.
When asked why he decided to capture and share the moment, the OP said, “I captured this moment and shared it because I feel proud seeing we are living in harmony in our multiracial country. I put the tagline as ‘This is Malaysia.’”
The OP also praised the dedication of the teachers, saying, “The teachers are so good. Madam Nora and Sangkeri really showed how much they care for the students.”
‘They’re all our children’
This heartwarming moment didn’t stay under the radar for long.
The video quickly gained traction online, touching the hearts of many and sparking conversations about unity and compassion.
One netizen perfectly summed up the sentiment: “No matter what race; they’re all our children.”

Another chimed in, “This is the kind of content that should go viral. So heartwarming to see… instead of all the constant drama.”

The video didn’t just highlight the teachers’ care—it also reminded viewers of something deeper.
As another commenter put it, “When we watch videos like this that promote unity, it hits us emotionally because we all love seeing people come together, not drift apart.”

This simple act of feeding students might seem small, but its impact is anything but.
It’s proof that love and kindness can transcend differences and bring people closer.
These teachers didn’t just feed their students—they reminded all of us that unity starts with care, one small act at a time.
