Charges RM1 for aircond

This practice, which originated in other countries, has raised concerns about adding extra costs to enjoying a meal conveniently.
“Stop bringing this culture of charging for everything, even air-conditioning. Let the neighboring country be the only one practicing things like this.” The post’s caption read.
Netizens’ reaction
The post has since sparked widespread discussion, accumulating 521k views and 4.1k likes in a single day.
“This is an Indonesian restaurant, right? So it’s no surprise that everything has a charge. If they could, they’d even charge you for the oxygen if you come to their place. It’s ridiculous. I don’t understand why Malaysians are so obsessed with eating over there. Honestly, the sambal isn’t even good at all. 🙄”

“Even mamak restaurants don’t charge for air-conditioning 🤦♂️”

“If you know you can’t afford to install air conditioning, don’t bother. Just use regular fans. I see plenty of popular eateries using fans, and they’re still getting lots of customers.”
