Whenever Malaysians see something oddly relatable, you can trust the Internet to turn it into a full comedy thread.
Recently, a photo of a signboard reading “Pusat Jagaan Gen Z”, which roughly translates to “Gen Z Care Centre”, made its rounds on Threads, and Malaysians immediately joked that tired Gen Zs should start applying before all the slots are taken.
The signboard, spotted in Klang, appears to belong to a childcare or tuition centre. Based on the smaller banner below it, the centre offers services such as daycare, tuition classes, homework guidance, and lessons for school subjects.
But of course, netizens only saw one thing: Gen Z finally has a “care centre.”

The original poster jokingly wrote:
Any Gen Zs here can start applying now.”
Netizens then flooded the comment section with hilarious “enquiries”, as if they were seriously planning to register themselves or their friends.
One asked whether the WiFi was strong and if a tablet or iPad was included, joking that they wanted to play Roblox with friends.

Another netizen asked: “Is there a fee? I want to send one of my friends there.”
Some even asked when they could start, with one commenting: “When can I start? Is next month okay?”

Another asked the question many late 20s Gen Zs were probably thinking: “I’m turning 30 in 3 years. Can I still enter?”
There were also very Gen Z-specific “requirements”, with one asking whether matcha would be served daily. The poster jokingly replied that it would have to be an add-on.

Another commenter asked whether there was a form or Google Form to register.
Someone else joked: “You can stay here and treat it like renting a house with new friends.”
While the signboard is most likely just an actual childcare centre with the name “Gen Z”, Malaysians had clearly decided to turn it into a support centre for burnt-out young adults.
