However, a recent incident left one Malaysian in disbelief after receiving a bill of RM19 for a seemingly simple mixed rice dish at a restaurant at Kepong.
RM19 is too expensive
Shared by a Facebook page, 大马资讯网, the picture shows the mixed rice dish purchased by the OP, which was charged RM19. The plate included rice, sweet and sour meat, 2 eggs, curry, and potatoes.
Expressing dissatisfaction, the OP questioned the pricing and emphasized that this meal should not cost more than RM12.
“RM19 isn’t too expensive? I personally think it shouldn’t be more than RM12,” the OP said.
The incident reportedly occurred at one of the restaurants in Kepong.
