A roadside hawker in JB has touched the hearts of netizens after rescuing a cat trapped under a car tyre.
According to a video posted on XiaoHongShu, the hawker, who was selling dried mangoes at the time, noticed and saved a distressed cat.
Cat trapped under a car
The hawker, who sells dried mango to drivers stopped at a red light, noticed a cat trapped under a car.
Without hesitation, he approached the vehicle, squatted down, and gently freed the cat from the tyre.
After ensuring the cat’s safety, he carefully placed it on the grass by the roadside.
The video caption expressed relief, stating, “I can’t imagine what would have happened if no one had noticed the cat.”
Didn’t saw the cat
Speaking to WeirdKaya, the video owner shared that the incident took place at Jalan Kempas Lama in Johor Bahru on September 13 at 12:35 PM.
She mentioned that she didn’t see when or how the cat got stuck under the car in front and was really impressed that the abang managed to spot the cat.
“That area always has hawkers selling at the red light, but I’m not sure if it’s the same one. However, I would definitely try to support him in the future.” She said.
